Mood boards

Today we will be making mood boards. In this moodboard you will be showing visually all the thing your audience likes. You already talked to them while you were researching, so now it is a matter of “showing visually” what you learned.

4. What do you need to include in a Moodboard?

  • Images: photographs, backgrounds, illustrations, logos, or any other image that represents your idea or product.
  • Words or phrases: Supplementing the images with a word or a phrase that represents a concept, an idea, or a feeling can be the perfect combination.
  • Colors: Choose your color palette and include it as a swatch or integrated within the images chosen. Have in mind the psychology of colors while choosing your color palette.
  • Fonts: Include the style of fonts you’ll use in the project.
  • Textures: or patterns, they can give more detailed information about the final product.

  • Images: pinterest, dribble.com, google search, unsplash.com (no need to cite the sources)
  • Words or phrases & fonts you can try writing them in specific fonts. Google fonts will allow you to type a sentence and see how it looks in different fonts.You can also use Canva.

  • Colors: Choose your color palette and include it as a swatch or integrated within the images chosen. Have in mind the psychology of colors while choosing your color palette. You can use coolors to create color palettes to include.

  • Textures: if you want to add elements or textures, you can also do that. Here is a little collection.
